Bordered by I-405 to
the west, the City of Newcastle to the north and Maple
Valley Highway to the south, Northeast Renton is experiencing
a population explosion. Hundreds of new homes are being

each year. Originally developed for Boeing workers during
World War II, the Highlands and East Plateau are now home
to a wide-range of people who work in Renton, Seattle,
Bellevue and the Greater Eastside. The area offers easy
access to I-405 and I-90. Bellevue can be also accessed
via Coal Creek Parkway. Issaquah via SR 900.
