| The award-winning Renton School District
serves over 13,000 students in preschool through 12th
grade. All of Renton's schools are accredited. Four high
schools, three middle schools, 13 elementary schools,
an early childhood education center and various other
special program locations constitute the preschool-12
system. Five of these schools are designated as "Outstanding
Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence" and the District received
the prestigious national "What Parents Want" Award.

Gibbons says the Renton Community Marketing Campaign
has helped attract top-level teachers and administrators
to the District. "This collaboration of education, business
and government to collectively benefit Renton has become
a model that is being replicated in other regions,"
said Gibbons. "This may be the best compliment that
our campaign could receive - national organizations
seeing value in what we have created and bringing similar
ideas to their own hometowns."
